In a misguided attempt to boost employee morale, the Dum-E Company organized a downhill soapbox derby race and company picnic. This event occurred annually from 1992-1999 despite the numerous injuries and resulting employee complaints.

The 5th annual race was especially notable as attendees were gifted a T-shirt with a design inspired by the works of famous hot rod artist Ed "Big Daddy" Roth, as well as "The best damn potato salad you've ever had." These unique shirts quickly became a collector's item among those brave enough to participate (or simply watch) the chaotic event. Featuring iconic hot rods imagery, the shirts were a bold statement, a badge of honor, or perhaps, a testament to poor decision-making.

... There were no survivors.

Crafted for comfort and durability, these long sleeve shirts are perfect for any occasion - even potentially disastrous soapbox derbies. More than just apparel, these shirts are built to last. The classic fit ensures a relaxed feel, while the rib cuffs provide a snug and secure fit, ready for anything life throws your way - or perhaps a runaway soapbox racer. Whether you're channeling your inner "Big Daddy" Roth or just appreciate quality apparel, these long sleeve shirts are a unique addition to any wardrobe. Perhaps you have a monkey that likes hot rods, these shirts will fit them too.
